My artistic intention as an illustrator is to create an illusion of reality in my drawings, leading the viewer to question whether they are observing a mere sketch or a realistic image. I use a range of graphite and ink materials and mix different lineweights to manipulate the two-dimensional plane and convey depth, texture, and value. My preferred medium is graphite/ink, as it offers me the flexibility to explore the potential of line and shading. Through my work, I aim to provide the viewer with a clear understanding of the underlying emotions and concepts, while simultaneously presenting them with a visually stunning composition.
